7th Seminar of the Brazilian Association of International Relations (ABRI): participation of NUPRIMA's researchers

The 7th ABRI Undergraduate and Graduate Seminar in International Relations, themed "Towards Multipolarity? Tensions, Alliances, and Brazil's Place in the Global Order," took place between December 12th and 14th at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, promoting debates and exchanges for academics from all over Brazil. NUPRIMA attended the event, represented by seven researchers, both undergraduate and graduate students.


Dr. Denise de Rocchi, Natália Morari Ochôa, and master's student Catharina Seadi Pereira participated in panels at the event, with the following themes: "Gender, technologies and activism", "International Challenges, Local Responses: Social Mobilization in the Arab and Islamic World", and "Art and Affects in International Relations".

Furthermore, the NUPRIMA undergraduate mentoring project had four participants, who presented their posters in person on the 12th. The list of authors and their themes follows: Aramis Dawas, Iraq after the US Invasion: An Analysis of the Influence of the Iranian State on Iraqi Elections from 2005 to 2021; Julia Marin, Becoming Others, Becoming Palestine: The Influence of Diaspora Literature on Nationalist Construction; Leonardo Domeraski, The 2023 Agreement and the Image of Saudi Arabia in Iranian Foreign Policy; Felipe Oliveira, Iran, China and the Art of Diplomacy: Smart Power Strategies in Syrian Reconstruction.
